Windows XP – Windows Royal Theme

This by no means is new, but I feel like posting it anyway (you never know who might find it useful).

In the past I’ve always turned to plugins, mods, and third-party software to get a new look for my desktop (I personally like glossy colors like black, white, and darker blues and greens). But thanks to CodeJacked‘s helpful article, I was able to re-find the Windows Royal/Royal Noir XP theme (it is based off the Media Center Edition theme).

Simply download msroyale.zip, extract to your windows theme folder (ex. C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes), and
click on luna.msstyles to install.

StumbleUpon

Apparently I’ve been visited via StumbleUpon (~330 visits in a little over an hour). I’m not totally why, because frankly there isn’t really anything of interest here. As there are no new comments, I’m pretty sure the visitors felt the same. This goes to show the power of StumbleUpon and site like it. I hit “I like it!” at random today, and already got hits.
