It is good to know DreamLinux is light on resources. I probably won't be installing it anytime soon on my main pc, but I do have a few older ones I'll try it on (and VM of course). Currently I've got my computer set up running Ubuntu 6.10 with Beryl 0.2.0 and a few other additions. VM is one of the things I have yet to get up and running. Its the ONLY linux resident on my desktop &laptop, and I normally think nothing of blowing away installs & trying something new. I have pretty much settled down on Dream, because it is so light on resources. I even have a VM running WindowsXP, which boots only about 10% slower than windows native on same hardware. ciao K if you want simple & fast, go with Dreamlinux.
